Gayl is a member of the Bahá’í Community of Hamilton.  Became a Bahá'i  whilst in her teens and has been living in and around Hamilton since she married 45 and a half years ago. Has a Diploma in Homeopathy, is the Mother of two children, and now a Grandmother.  Is a volunteer Broadcaster and shares her faith on a radio programme called Bahá’í Time on Free FM, community radio, since 1999. Also runs a non religious children’s story and songs requests radio show called Spin-A –Tale for the young and the young at heart at the same station.  Gayl spends her time enjoying the wonderful diversity of her faith, in assisting with Teaching Children’s classes, and  participating and also taking Prayer/Study meetings, and is also a Tutor for the Bahá’í Ruhi Courses.
